Custom made to our specs from premium ceramic. The cutting action is very fast and the resulting surface very smooth. Perfect for all trigger work from burr removal to final finish. Use dry or with water as a lube (no messy oil); soap and water cleanup. Less fragile than Arkansas stones. Sold in two colors, White and Black. Ground sides for sharp, 90° edges and an extremely fine cutting action for polishing and smoothing triggers and sears, like the 1911 Auto, that require an exact 90° interface for best performance. White stones produce a finer cut than Black. Set contains one of each stone.
SPECS: All are 6" (15.2cm) x ½" (12.7mm) x ½" (12.7mm).
Fast cutting aluminum oxide stone. Medium is perfect for fast production cleanup of the manufacturing burrs found in almost all new guns. A few quick strokes in the jig results in a much smoother trigger pull. Lubricate with stoning/honing oil. Fine is a good combination of speed and smoothness of cut to put a finer finish on parts for slicker, smoother trigger pulls. A favorite of many armorers. Lubricate with stoning/honing oil. Aluminum oxide.
Abrasive silicon carbide balls polish rough or scored chambers smooth and friction free in only minutes. Helps cure sticky extraction for faster, more reliable cycling. Use Flex Hone Oil Only.

Man made from aluminum oxide. A uniformly dense stone with superior cutting properties make these medium grit stones cut faster than hard Arkansas. Especially useful for lapping, honing, sharpening and polishing in tight places where the special shapes can reach into nooks and crannies.
Flawless, man-made ceramic stones polish the surface of steel as they cut, so you save time as you produce a clean, ripple free surface on any metal with just a few easy strokes. Double, precision grinding after high pressure extrusion produces the consistent, extra-fine grit, true angles and the sharp, perfectly square edges necessary for top quality handgun and rifle trigger work. Extra hard ceramic material maintains its surface so edges stay square and straight without chips or glazing. Cuts can be made dry - so there's no messy cleanup - or with water. With normal care these high quality stones will maintain their edge and last a lifetime.
SPECS: Extra fine, white ceramic stones 3.50" (8.8cm) long. Set includes: Triangle - .250" (6.3mm) wide. Square - .350" (8.8mm) wide. Round - .250" (6.3mm) diameter. Packaged in fitted plastic tray with lid.
These are the top of the line, ultra-fine Hard Arkansas Stones made by Norton and used by professional gunsmiths, pattern makers, wood workers - anyone who wants a super-smooth finish on cutting tools, gouges; for accurizing, trigger work, hard fitting, etc. The "Premium" designation means these stones are made from selected, finest quality, hard, Ozark Quartz. They show the minimum in variations within each stone and are carefully checked for consistent hardness. A must for truly precision parts fitting and sharpening.
Millions of diamond cutting edges permanently bonded to a 2" x 3/4" steel plate for universal, any-direction, cutting action.
SPECS: 5-5/8" (16.9cm) overall length 11/16" (17.5mm) wide. 4" (10.2cm) long plastic handle. Fine (600 grit), Medium (400 grit), & Course (250 grit).
Ceramics cut beautifully and uniformly using water (not messy oil) as the lubricant; they’re resistant to shatter and breakage and literally last a lifetime. Cleanup consists only of washing with detergent and warm water to restore the original clean, white cutting surface. The cut is rated “smooth” and you can cut Hard Arkansas with these Ceramic files. After a bit of use and a few washings, the cut will become even finer.
You can't get a great action job with out cleaning up every bit of roughness inside the Single Action Army's frame. You'll be amazed at how much you can reduce the single action's cocking effort and lighten perceived trigger pull without ever touching the critical trigger/hammer notches. Well worth the effort on first and second generation Colts, especially important on 3rd generation and clones with cast or roughly forged frames. The MF-414 stone fits nicely in the hand slot and cuts quickly to get rid of casting roughness. Follow with the HF-823 to make a slick, polished path for the hand. Use the MF-14 to round the nose of the hammer notch. Thanks to Eddie Janis of Peacemaker Specialists for his help with this kit.
